I’m Gio. I live in Miami, where I code, play and race.

I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember, and wrote my first program when I was 10 years old, just two weeks after my mom brought home a used Intel 486.

The only thing I loved more than computers as a kid was boating. When I was 14, I built a 16-foot sailboat and spent every weekend racing against my friends. It was not very fast, but it was very fun! Later I added technology to the mix, and built a solar-powered boat.

Today, I’m a software engineer and entrepreneur. I’ve built and sold startups, worked at a few others, and consulted for various clients. I enjoy working on hard problems with smart people, and bringing products to market.
